ZCCI joined the people of Mweemba Chiefdom in Sinazongwe District to celebrate the official recognition and installation of Senior Chief Mweemba, Ackson Simicheelo. More than a traditional ceremony, the occasion marked the return of stable leadership and a new chapter of progress after years of uncertainty.
Traditional leaders play an essential role in uniting people, preserving cultural identity, and guiding development at the grassroots. With clear leadership now in place, community programmes can be coordinated more effectively and reach even the most remote parts of the chiefdom.
