"The progress of any community can be measured by how it values its women." ZCCI reaffirmed its unwavering support for the women of Maamba Ward during Women's Month.
Our women remain the backbone of the community, and meaningful development must always begin by recognising and supporting their role. During Women's Month, ZCCI continued to stand with the women of Maamba Ward in Sinazongwe, having already provided chitenges so they could mark the occasion with dignity and pride.
True to that commitment, ZCCI visited the women to spend time engaging, listening, and appreciating the important role they play — and to reaffirm continued support for women's empowerment initiatives across the district.
As always, the women's expression of appreciation was humbling. It underlined a simple truth: real connection with people is not defined by occasions, but by a continued commitment to their wellbeing.
